  • The GMRS-V1 has one built-in receiver but can “watch” two channels (semi duplex). Monitor 2 GMRS channels or monitor two different frequencies (even on different bands (VHF/UHF)) and the radio will monitor both frequencies giving priority to the first station to receive an incoming call.
  • Channel Skip: Easily add or remove a channel from the scanning list – if you have a nuisance channel, just skip it.

  • [Dual Monitor and Synchronized Display] You can configure the GMRS-V1 radio to watch two channels simultaneously. The two channels can use the independent PTT side-keys for the corresponding channel. If you want to simplify operation of the radio: You can synchronize the side-keys and display to use a single channel.

    [FM, NOAA, and Scanner] The GMRS-V1 has a built in FM radio along with the ability to store VHF and UHF scanner channels. This means while talking on GMRS – you can still monitor other channels on VHF or UHF including the NOAA weather bands.

    [Keypad Lockout] A simply press of the keypad can prevent accidental channel changes
